At SchoolCare Clinics, we aim to communicate effectively and efficiently with our patients.
- Telephone Calls: Our reception staff are available to answer your calls during consulting hours. For urgent medical advice, your call may be triaged by a nurse or doctor. Doctors generally do not take calls during consultations to ensure privacy and focus on the patient in front of them. Non-urgent messages will be passed on, and the doctor or relevant staff member will return your call as soon as practicable.
- Electronic Communications: We use emails for appointment reminders, administrative purposes, and non-urgent enquiries. Please be aware that email communication is not a secure method for transmitting sensitive health information. We advise against sending personal health details via email. If you have a medical query, please book an appointment or call the clinic directly. Any email communication regarding your health will be documented in your medical record.
- Results: We do not provide results over the phone or via email to ensure patient privacy and proper explanation. Please book a follow-up appointment with your doctor to discuss results.
